LEGO Robotic Engineering Competition

On 15th February the KS3 Fitzalan Robotics Club were invited to RAF St Athan to participate in the Tomorrow's Engineers Robotics Competition. The competition was designed to test all the building and programming skills that the students had been developing in the Fitzalan Robotics Club after school sessions.

The students felt well prepared for the challenge, however they soon found they were unable to complete many parts first time around.  They worked diligently throughout the day and made many design and programming improvements, and by the end of the day were to complete many parts of the challenge.

The students thoroughly impressed the judges during their presentation of their project, and earned Fitzalan a Tomorrow's Engineers EEP Robotic Challenge Winners trophy for best presentation.

All students behaved impeccably, and staff and students should be proud of how they represented the school."
