In the final week of the spring term, it has become somewhat of a tradition for the Fitzalan Charity Committee to organise an Easter Egg Raffle.  We had a large donation of Easter Eggs and we sold over 500 raffle numbers, which means over a £100 was raised to add to our total to be donated to the Noah’s Ark charity.  There were lots of happy winners when the prizes were donated.

On the last day of term, the Charity Committee also organised a cake sale and we did this to celebrate Eid.  Once again, we had a large number of donations, cakes this time and it was a very busy breaktime selling them.  We are waiting for an update on exactly how much we raised but it will be a good sum to add to the total that we are raising for Noah’s Ark.

As always, we are very grateful for the donations of cakes and chocolates, for the generosity of people buying cakes and raffle numbers and of course for the hard work of those people who worked hard organising the events.
