On the 31^st January 2023, Mrs Bentley, Miss Beech and Mrs Gardiner took a group of Year 10s to London's BFI (British Film Insititute) for an in-depth analysis of Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth' using the medium of film. 

It was a fascinating day, with our pupils taking the lead in many of the workshop activities, from presenting sections of the script, answering analytical questions from the day's leaders, to taking part in a reimagining of the play. 

The BFI provided many excellent resources for our students to take away, and greatly improved their knowledge of the play that forms a crucial part of their Literature GCSE grade.
