In the last week of the autumn term, the Charity Committee organised a Christmas Chocolate Raffle.  We were inundated with donations of chocolate from staff and consequently sold a huge number of raffle numbers.  The raffle was drawn on Thursday 18^th December and lots of lucky staff and pupils went home with some chocolate treats.  Approximately £180 was raised and this will be put towards our child sponsorship through the charity Action Aid.  We sponsor a young girl called Samima who lives in Bangladesh and the sponsorship helps to provide her with an education. 

Thank you so much to everyone who donated chocolate and to all those who bought raffle numbers.  With supermarkets already stocking Easter Eggs, we are already planning an Easter Chocolate Raffle to raise the rest of the sponsorship!
