End of Term 2024 - 2025
As we approach the end of this academic year, the first in our new school building we would like to thank you for your support. Please see the key dates and important information below.
Wednesday 17th July, 2024 - Cultural Celebration Day: Pupils can wear traditional cultural dress, school uniform or PE kit.
Thursday 18th July, 2024 – Big Trip Day/Staycation Activity Day: All information has been shared with parents of pupils who are going on trips/educational visits. A reminder that all trips leave from Lawrenny Avenue. Please make sure your child arrives in plenty of time for the bus. Pupils remaining in school have chosen activities to participate in throughout the course of the school day.
Friday 19th July, 2024 – Last day of term for pupils (Vintage Sports Day): Pupils are to wear PE kit. Buses will collect pupils at 12:10pm. The only buses available on this day are the 608 and 611. (who will transport all pupils).
Thursday 15th August, 2024 – A Level and AS Level Results Day: Pupils will collect their results from school between 8.30am – 11.00am. Further information will follow.
Thursday 22nd August, 2024 – GCSE Results Day: Pupils will collect their results from school between 8.30am – 11.00am. Further information will follow.

We would like to invite parents/carers to the following:
- Year 10 Parents’ Information Evening Monday 16th September 2024
- Year 7 meet the Head of Year and Form Tutors meeting Monday 16th September 2024
- Year 12 parents’ information evening Tuesday 24th September 2024
We encourage all parents/carers to get access to the online platform ClassCharts. ClassCharts will allow you to monitor your child’s attitudes to learning. You will have access to your child’s attendance records and their weekly timetable. ClassCharts will also be used for two-way communication between the school and parents; important announcements will be made through this platform.
Please can you ensure you notify the school immediately of any changes to your contact details i.e telephone number, address and email address etc.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and ask for your continued support to ensure your child attends school in full uniform with equipment, ready to learn.

Our school is actively engaged in a uniform recycling scheme. If you have any used, but still in good condition Fitzalan High School uniform especially jumpers, PE tops and ties please feel free to drop them off in school reception or pupils can drop them off in the pupil office.
