Thank you all for your support in regards to making the return to school this term so smooth and successful. We have received some updated guidance from the Local Authority (LA) regarding COVID.

Please continue to self-isolate and take a PCR COVID test (e.g. at Cardiff City) if your child or anyone in your family displays the traditional COVID symptoms  (fever, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell). Also, now go for a PCR test if your child or anyone in your household displays any of the following symptoms:-

Fatigue

Muscle ache or pain

Sore throat

Headache

Running Nose

Nausea

Vomiting

Diarrhoea

Please let the school know the outcome of the PCR COVID test as soon as possible.

From Monday 26th April, all pupils will have the opportunity to undertake regular Lateral Flow Tests (LFT). Please make sure that your child takes their LFT test every Sunday and every Wednesday evening. If their LFT result is positive, then they need to stay at home, until their Head of Year (HOY) can arrange a PCR test as soon as possible for them.

If you have a pupil in Year 7, 8 or 9, please complete the following consent form

If a pupil does have a positive test result then, following latest advice, we will ask the whole class to isolate in the first instance. Following further investigation, any pupils who are not a close contact of the positive pupil will be allowed to return back to school. Your HOY will communicate arrangements directly with you.
