For Safer Internet Day on February 5th, the Emotional Support team organised a series of workshops delivered by Web Wise Kids for some of our year 9 and 10 pupils. This year we wanted to focus on the socio-emotional issues that our pupils face when on-line, drawing on real life stories (positive and negative), with a strong focus on the psychology of young people using social media and the internet. A key part of what we wanted to achieve was to support our pupils to develop their own self-awareness, self-regulation, resilience and confidence so that they make better decisions online.
