French Trip

It was midnight on the 7th December and Miss Samuel and Miss Williams set off for France with a bus of 25 pupils. Setting sail from Dover the crossing was fairly pleasant with most pupils catching up on their sleep!

Arriving in France the first stop was a local French market where pupils had the opportunity to converse with locals in French and purchase food for their breakfast.

Next stop on the agenda was to a local boulangerie, where the pupils learnt about traditional bread making and had the opportunity to make croissants.

From the boulangerie we moved on to a traditional sweet factory and were guided on how to make two traditional sweets, as well as being able to try a few flavours.

The final stop of the day was to Nausicaa, the second largest aquarium in Europe.

Although the crossing back was a little rough to say the least, everyone had an amazing time and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
