Wales Police Schools Programme

On Thursday 21st October, we were delighted to welcome Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing, Lynne Neagle, Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, Rt Hon. Alun Michael and Temporary Chief Constable, Dyfed Powys , Claire Parmenter to school.

They joined a lesson delivered by PC Paul Tebbutt to a group of Year 8 pupils.  The engaging lesson forms part of the revised lessons that form part of the Wales Police Schools Programme.  After the lesson, the pupils posed challenging questions to the panel of guests whose answers emphasised the importance of mental health and wellbeing and the support available for young people.
