At the end of September, our GCSE Film Studies pupils took part in an informative BFI seminar about their Hollywood film texts.

Our pupils had the opportunity to begin building their contextual knowledge of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'Rebel Without a Cause'. Although the seminar was through 'Zoom', this did not stop our pupils from engaging with the online materials.

The experts at the BFI walked our pupils through some key scenes and trailers, getting them to consider some thought-provking aspects of teenage life and rebellion.

We look forward to more experiences from the BFI and hopefully future collaborations and trip opportunities with them.
