On Thursday 12th March, Miss Millard and Mrs Sinfield took Fitzalan's Year 9 Scholar's Programme to see the prestigious production of 'An Inspector Calls' at the New Theatre in Cardiff. The pupils have began studying the GCSE text, challenging their analytical and evaluative skills, whilst considering how literature has the ability to give insight into history and societal issues.

All pupils engaged with the social and political ideologies expressed within the play, and enjoyed the way in which the production brought the characters and themes to life.

This production helped pupils to gain more of an understanding of the text, preparing them for their challenging assignments to come.
