Update from Headteacher

Thank-you to all parents for your support this week. All pupils are following their normal timetable, either on line or in school. Please could you double check that your child is accessing their lessons and completing all their school work. If it is difficult for your child to access their lessons online, please let us know.

Just to reassure you that the current in school provision for pupils will continue for  the foreseeable future:-

The following groups are in school for all lessons:

7CGR, 7S,

8W, 8H, 8i4, 8t4,

9W, 9t4,

10H1, 10H2, 10t3,

11W,

ESOL, E/O and selected pupils with ALN.

In Years 11, 12 and 13, the Heads of Year will be in contact regarding attendance at school, which will be for focus groups and those pupils who have difficulty accessing on line lessons.

Children of key workers who need an allocated place, please email the following link keyworker@fitzalan.cardiff.sch.uk

The 600 school bus will be running, which is the late bus route. The timetable is on the school website.

All other teaching groups are at home: the normal lesson timetable will take place on line.

Please make sure that you have told us if your child or anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19. Please do not send your child to school if they are unwell or if they are in a self-isolation period. Please remind your child to bring their face covering with them and to wear it throughout the day, including in lessons. Spares are available from Heads of Year.
