Key Stage 3 cadets were lucky to spend the day with the Royal Marines at Cardiff Castle.  Over the course of the day, cadets were put through their paces with an intensive programme combining physical and mental activities, as well as practical leadership challenges, where problem-solving skills were put to the test. Those brave enough to take on the challenge also had the chance to abseil down the walls of Cardiff Castle. The cadets observed unarmed combat based on mixed martial arts and enjoyed an exhilarating fast ride along the River Taff on the Royal Marines' inflatable raiding craft to finish their day.
