Skills Challenge Trip to Cornwall

Earlier in September, Miss Millard, Miss Sedgwick and Mr Draper took a group of our Year 10 GCSE Skills Challenge pupils to Cornwall's Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

This was a fantastic weekend, with wonderful weather - filled with inspirational ideas for sustainable living, looking after our planet and the power of nature.

Our Year 10s left feeling inspired for their Global Citizenship Challenge module, having taken part in a 'Sustainable Attainable' workshop at the Eden Project. They also had a full day exploring the Eden Project, taking in both the Mediterranean and Tropical 'green houses'. The Lost Gardens of Heligan were also stunning - pupils couldn't quite believe how vast the gardens were and particularly enjoyed the jungle rope bridge.

This is very much a trip we look forward to offering our Skills Challenge pupils again next year.
