There have been a number of events at Fitzalan to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.  On Thursday 26^th May the Charity Committee held a cake sale to raise money for the Young Minds mental health charity.  We had lots of donations of cakes and pupils and staff bought cakes for a breaktime treat.  We raised a fantastic £70. 

In registration on Friday 27^th there was a brief presentation about the history of royal jubilees and the celebrations planned for the extended jubilee weekend.  In the afternoon we welcomed invited guests and pupils to a Platinum Jubilee garden party.  The party included music from our school steel pans group, games, and refreshments.  Every person invited to the garden party received a special Fitzalan Platinum Jubilee mug as a keepsake.
