We are very fortunate to have some dedicated volunteers headed up by Marilyn Hague-Morgan, who have worked very hard this term on organising projects, events and fundraising for the parents and pupils of Fitzalan. One of these projects involved Marilyn and her volunteers raising money to buy stationery which they then used to fill a lovely homemade bag. We called these bags Homework Bags because as a school we wanted pupils to know that we support them in doing their homework (of course they can also use the equipment in lessons). Pupils were nominated by staff and Heads of Year to receive one of the Homework Bags and to date, we have handed out around thirty bags, to some very appreciative pupils. Thank you to Marilyn and her volunteers for this wonderfully kind and generous support.
